Billabong: The Board Game is the story of survival in the intense Australian outback. You can play as one of eight adorable creatures as you make you go about your day gathering food and resources. Dangerous twists are around every corner and deadly foes await. Making it back to the Billabong requires cunning, resource management, and sometimes a bit of luck.
Development
The gameplay came first before anything. I worked with a team of three other designers to develop and test the mechanics to make a working game. After conducting some user testing and were satisfied with the results (after many revisions) we then split up to create our own respective identities for the game.
